Lionvest are really proud to announce an innovative new product to add to the award winning, engineered, Ekowood range that they exclusively offer in the UK.

The EKOLOC 5G range utilizes an entirely new technology which allows locking to be automatically obtained during folding. The flexiable tongue enables installation in one easy and single action. This benefits the installer by reducing installation manpower AND requiring far less time for each fitting. The tongue bends and locks into place when snapped together. The locking is instant and occurs automatically with a *click* when the panel is folded down.

The bristle tongue is designed with a rigid outer part and several flexiable inner protrusions that creates a prelocking tension. This feature is used to obtain a strong lock and to overcome any production tolerances. The floor, with this profile, can be very easily disassembled, which enables replacement of any boards simply and cleanly. This is suitable as a Floating or Glue Down system.

Ekowood and Valinge have signed a global agreement to give the right to produce and market the 5G range as an original and exclusive product.

Lionvest’s Terracotta Army! Lined up and ready to attack the Flooring marketplace!

We are extremely proud that our ‘Zamorra’ engineered range, truly goes from strength in a hugely competitive marketplace. The range has evolved over the last few years to be able to offer our customers a diverse collection of finishes, specifications and grades.

One huge attraction, that we have consistently positive feedback on, is the consistency of quality control, presentation of the pallets and uniformity from shipment to shipment. We like to think this is partly because of the long standing and close relationship we have with the ‘Zamorra’ factory, and also the hunger that every link of the ‘Zamorra’ chain has, to genuinely value continued business with current customers.

‘Zamorra’ is now available in T&G & Clic profiles, Oak, Maple and Walnut species, four grades and over ten different finishes throughout the range. Our new informative brochure is available upon request.

The Future is Black and Gold….!!   ‘

Launched hand in hand with this new website, and avaliable to view on it, is our new Lion branded customer brochure. Really, it is a paper version of the website, and gives a clear overview of all Lionvest product ranges in a glossy format. In the late stages of design is also a very useful ‘Zamorra’ brochure which is informative to our customers but is also avaliable, in bulk, for our customer’s customers as a point of sale marketing tool.

Thermo Oak is a new addition to the Zamorra Structural Mutilayer Flooring range.

Thermo treating the board accentuates the best characteristics of the Floor – the dark chocolate brown colour exists throughout the wood – unlike a stain which simply covers the top of the board.  The boards are heated to a high temperature which causes the colour to darken, the board is heated and steamed in the process, no chemicals are used.

Advantages of Thermo Treated Boards:

1. The colour runs throughout the wood – rather than staining the top.  The boards can be sanded or repaired and the colour will remain.
2. The hardness of the wood is increased
3. Eco-friendly manufacturing due to the process using only heat and no chemicals.
4. Thermo treated wood is a better sound isolator – perfect for flats or above ground floor rooms – meaning a quieter environment.

Lionvest are thrilled to add this popular product to their Zamorra Multifloor range, in an Unfinished specification only, and in dimensions:  20/6mm x 180mm Width.

The first containers have been extremely popular and we see this product becoming an established member of the Zamorra portfolio.
